Butterfly
I went to a birthday party for a friend’s daughter who just turned one year old. As I was leaving I spied this butterfly taking a rest on the sidewalk. Fortunately he stuck around long enough for me to sneak up with my macro lens and snap a few shots.
Nice macro picture Gawain. The color and clarity is exceptional. I also like the contrasting background.
Thanks. He was a nice find! I did a little desaturation on the background to make the colors stand out a bit, but that’s pretty much how he looked.
