Gig at Puckett’s Grocery

Pssst… I’ve got a little gig with “Ace of Blues” next Saturday night the 27th. We’re playing at Puckett’s in Franklin. There’s a festival in town that night so reservations are recommended. We go on about 8pm.
Update: We had a great time! Thanks to everybody that came out to hear us. It was a lot of fun playing for you guys! We hope to do it again sometime soon. Here’s a collage of pictures Stephanie took at the show. I guess Dean didn’t get the “mandatory hat” memo…

Gawain, caught Ace of Blues last night at Puckett’s, Awesome! Finishing the first set with Southbound was great. I stopped by to say hey and mention Doyle Bramhall’s “Bird Nest on the Ground”. Here’s his link http://www.doylebramhall.com/db_bnotg_cd.htm If you get some time give bird nest a listen, I would love to hear you and Dean Freeman tear that song up some time. We’ll be looking for you and the Ace of Blues from now on. Good luck. Joe

Thanks for coming Joe! It was nice talking to you. I like Doyle’s stuff. Perhaps we can work something into the set for next time.

Southbound is my favorite Ace of Blues song. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT! Such a fun gig. Hope y’all play again. Love the “stink face” all you guys make when you’re groovin’. Too funny. I tried to capture them in the photos ‘cept G didn’t post any of those photos.
