I’m not getting an iPhone. Yet.
Tomorrow is the big day. The day the world changes. At 6pm, the iPhone will go on sale.
I’m not getting one
I’ve been repeating this to myself for quite some time. I own a lot of Apple stuff, but I’m not the biggest Apple fanboy I know. I mean, I only bought my first iPod a couple of years ago when the first Nano came out. I can’t really be that obsessed, can I?
I’m not getting one.
I watched David Pogue’s review.
I’m still not getting one. Even though I really do think Apple’s got another winner here. I’d probably be standing in line too, but the fact is at the moment I just don’t need one, mainly because I don’t travel near as much as some of my colleagues. Hey, I’ve got a perfectly good laptop after all… Plus, I can smugly proclaim that I’m “waiting for version two” before I plunk down my cash.
Like the iPod though, there will probably be a point when I can stand it no more and I give into my inner geek. Hopefully by then AT&T’s bandwidth will improve, they’ll fix the inevitable first generation gremlins and the thing will hold more than 8GB, (less the 700MB the OS uses of course.) Until then, I’ll just pretend I don’t want one. I have a perfectly good phone that plays MP3s and takes pictures, right? Nope, I’m not even going to link to it.
Not. Getting. iPhone. Must. Resist.
Arrrrrgh…
